The next batch of games coming to Google Stadia has been announced. Two of the games are from two iconic franchises, and the other three are first on Stadia. Google announced that the five games coming to Stadia are Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Panzer Dragoon, Serious Sam Collection, Spitlings, and Stacks On Stacks (On Stacks). These games will release on the streaming platform in the coming months. Lost Words: Beyond the Page is a narrative adventure game where you play as a young girl on a journey to save her village....

The final update of the season Update 1.15 has arrived for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. A rebuilt game engine 2K Games has surprisingly not revealed much info about WWE 2K22 yet, even though the game will be released later this year. However, we did get some small news about the game this week. As reported by SmackTalks on YouTube, Michael Cole revealed some new news about the game during an episode of Smackdown. It sounds like the game will have a rebuilt game engine and better controls than the ill received WWE 2K20 game from 2019....

It was a good run for the Socom and MAG shooters on the PlayStation 3, but that time is coming to an end. Sony is set to shutter the online services for these games in late-January. MAG, SOCOM: Confrontation, and SOCOM 4 will all be shut down and put out to pasture on January 28th, according to a recent tweet from Sony. For MAG and Confrontation, this of course means that these games won’t work anymore because there’s no offline mode....

Sony MAX, one of India’s most popular Bollywood movie channels, has launched the world’s first television-based chatbot in India. The artificial intelligence powered chatbot, called Filmykaant, was developed with an advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology, which gives the chatbot the ability to read Hinglish. Sony MAX viewers will be able to log on to Facebook Messenger and chat with Filmykaant to find answers to trivia from the world of Hindi cinema....

In March 2022, Sony first announced that PlayStation Plus would be reworked with new subscription tiers and gave an estimated release of June. But Sony has now given an updated timeline with the new tiers beginning to roll out in May. This news came from the official PlayStation Twitter and was also posted on the PlayStation blog. This update reveals the following dates for when the new PlayStation Plus subscription tiers will be released....

The Sony PS4 console is still going strong in the year of 2016. The console managed to ship over 3.9 million units between the months of July until September 2016. Sony released its huge financial results via a PDF file. When comparing the shipments to the same quarter in 2015, they are slightly down. July until September 2015 shipped over 4 million PS4 units. They were only down this year by around 100,000 units....

It feels like ages ago that Spelunky released to the world and took it by storm. I was still in my console days, which feel very, very far away at this point. Coming sometime in 2022. Nintendo closed their Nintendo Direct today with a reveal trailer for Splatoon 3, which warmed the dark, frozen depths of my squid-kid soul.
