The Cayo Perico Heist is Grand Theft Auto Online’s biggest update yet, and it managed to bring trouble with all of its additional content. Ever since the update went live, some players have been plagued with an error message when trying to form a group with their friends. It reads: “Sending invites is disabled until both you and this player have completed the GTA Online tutorial.” This doesn’t make a lot of sense, considering the amount of playing everyone has already done before linking up in Cayo Perico....

To celebrate the launch of the Detective Pikachu movie this week, Niantic is hosting a special in-game event in Pokémon Go that comes with a bunch of Pokemon, raids, merch, and one special shiny offering. That’s right folks, Niantic has added a Shiny Aipom into the game to coincide with the event and follows the previous trend of Shiny Pokémon also added into the game. Seel and Buneary were recent additions over April....

Having launched its first PS5-ready 4K Android TVs in India back in August, Sony has now brought its newest flagship 8K TV to the country. Called the Sony Z8H, it is the company’s first 8K TV in India and is being offered in a single 85-inch avatar. The company also announced a 75-inch model for global markets, so it will be interesting to see when that will make its way to the country going forward....

Splatoon 3 feels both fresh and familiar, and unfortunately, the latter does include glitches. The 2.1.0 update will arrive for Splatoon 3, and here’s the complete list of changes and fixes added with this patch. The game has been around since last year and was received quite positive feedback from Nintendo Switch owners. Like its predecessors in the Splatoon series, the game consists of online multiplayer (player versus player and player versus environment) alongside a single-player campaign. Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that several well-known companies will be heading to E3 2021. Companies such as Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Xseed Games, and Gearbox Entertainment are included in the latest roster reveal. Konami was set to attend E3 as well, until it backed out last month due to “key projects,” stating that it’s “in deep development on a number of key projects.” The ESA also revealed that Freedom Games, Devious Eye Entertainment, Turtle Beach, Verizon, and Binge....

Adorable new costumes and a “Mystery” sub-scenario XSEED Games has announced the launch date of the first post-launch Expansion Pack for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. The game was launch on March 23 along with the Expansion Pack as a separate or bundled purchase, but the first wave of content isn’t coming out until the end of the month. The Expansion Pack will launch in five separate parts starting this month, then following in May, June, July, and August....

Although originally meant for release next month, Amplitude Studios’ latest historical strategy title, Humankind, has now been pushed back to August 17. In a new blog post, the French team says that the delay is needed to “further polish the game for a great day one experience.” “While Humankind is already a great game, many of you think it could be even better,” the studio wrote. “We realized that we could make even further improvements to make Humankind the best game it can be....

The developers of Shenmue 3 revealed in a Kickstarter post that refunds are available to PC backers who are unhappy with the switch from Steam to Epic Games Store. Backers who were unhappy with the change will be able to choose from four different options for the game, and if they are unable to find something that suits them, it seems that a refund will be available to them in the future....
