Shin Megami Tensei 4 got a sequel in Japan called Shin Megami Tensei 4: Final, but it remained uncertain if that game would ever see a release outside of Japan. It turns out that it will, but when it does it will be coming with a different subtitle. Atlus has revealed that the game will be getting a release in the US this Summer as Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse. Despite sharing the same number and the events overlapping each other, you do not need to have played Shin Megami Tensei 4 in order to understand what is going on in Apocalypse....

In Sony’s latest fiscal forecast, the company has revealed that it in fact sees itself losing double the amount as initially projected, putting the current forecasted annual loss at $6.4 billion. Reports indicate, as part of Sony’s “GTFO” strategy of releasing employees, that the company is planning a massive cut in employment that could see 10,000 job cuts businesses that are not “profitable or central to the firm’s strategy.” Sony stated in the forecast that it still expects to make an operating loss of $1....
Sony announced a worse than expected loss today of $2.9 billion dollars for the year. Weakness across many portions of its business, and a new CEO inbound, the company has its work cut out for them in the coming years. As for the PlayStation 3, Sony warned investors that hardware sales may be less than expected. According to one analyst, problems persist throughout many Japanese technology firms. Companies are simply failing to innovate, and it’s taking its toll on the bottom line....
After selling 274 million games in 2019, the PlayStation 4 crossed over one billion total games sold on the console since its release in November 2013. This number includes retail store sales and online games sold through the PlayStation Store, but not DLC or other add-ons like microtransactions. As of Jan. 31, the total number of games sold on the PS4 is 1.181 billion. Comparing that number to other Sony hardware, the PlayStation 3 sold a total of 999....
