Star Citizen, the highly anticipated space trading and combat game from Cloud Imperium Games, has officially reached $250,000,000 in funding. This milestone comes eight years since the game’s announcement, and five years since the game’s initial release date. Hitting this goal was thanks to the game’s recent anniversary sale, bumping up cash flow for November. The last milestone for the funding campaign was hit back in November 2018, reaching $200,000,000 from two million backers....

Paradox has just launched a mobile game based on Stellaris, called Stellaris: Galaxy Command, which you could’ve played for a few hours on iOS and Android in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Sweden. We’re using the past for a particular reason. The game has indeed been brought offline because players noticed that it was coming with artworks stolen from another title, Halo 4. The artwork in question (and there could be many others) was created by 343 Industries technical art director Kenny Kagnusson....

Capcom released patch notes for their “Definitive Update” coming to Street Fighter V. According to developers, “The list of changes for SF5’s final large-scale update appear to be the longest the game has ever seen with all 45 characters receiving significant alterations to their toolkits.” The patch notes are lengthy, detailing every change made to each character. This popular fighting game was first released in 2016 and has continued to entertain players with multiple updates over the years....

Sony Pictures Entertainment has officially released the second trailer for Spider-Man: Across the SpiderVerse, set to hit theaters on June 2, 2023. Sega has never been shy about releasing collections for its most iconic franchise. The Sonic series has seen a boatload of collection packs that have released on many systems. It sounds like we might be getting another one sometime soon. According to a French retail site, Sega will be releasing a new Sonic collection to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The posting lists “Sonic Collection EU Version” for PlayStation 4. Sogamely is the same retailer that listed a Sonic Colors remaster last month....

Just a month after launching its Momentum Wireless 3 headphones in India, German audio company, Sennheiser, has expanded its portfolio in the country with the launch of a new high-end soundbar that was originally unveiled more than a year ago at CES 2019. God of War 2018 introduced Kratos’ son Atreus to the world. Many see him as a natural fit for taking over the “God of War” mantle, but just as many don’t want the story to go in that direction. Playing through the Lost Ark campaign, you sometimes get a few choices to make that may or may not impact the quest in some way or form. The second choice to make is in the region of Yudia, in a quest called The Nomad’s Meeting. This decision lies in whether you should save the bandit leader from the Giant Worm he summons or ignore him. But very much like the first decision you make in the prologue to save or ignore Gerka, nothing overly changes within the quest, so choose what you like....

Announced during the Silent Hill Transmission event, Konami unveiled a brand new game in the survival horror series called Silent Hill: Ascension. The title, which is currently slated to launch sometime in 2023, will be developed as a joint venture between Genvid, J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Games, Dead by Daylight developer Behavior Interactive, and DJ2 Entertainment. Billed as a “live, real-time interactive series” where players can cooperatively determine the outcome of each episode, players can participate in scenes depending on choices made as the series unfolds....

The director of the original 2006 Silent Hill movie appeared as a guest of honor at the 2022 Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival and brought to light some very interesting information about the Silent Hill series. Slime Rancher is an entertaining farming game that has you collecting cute slimes and selling the resources they generate when they are fed! The game was not too long ago offered for free in the Epic Games Store for a couple of weeks, which let more people experience this fun and vibrant game! It appears they aren’t done upgrading the game just yet, and will be offering a new Secret Style Pack DLC that will allow you to unlock styles for each of the slimes by finding special treasure pods throughout the Far, Far Range....

Gamers will soon be able to play Sniper Elite 4 on the Nintendo Switch, according to an announcement trailer which aired during today’s Nintendo Direct video. While we don’t have an exact release date, development studio Rebellion Developments expects to ship the game sometime this year. Sniper Elite 4 on Switch will be available to purchase both digitally and physically. Alongside the announcement of Switch announcement, Rebellion Developments also announced the game would be coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan for the first time....
