The retailer exclusive Lucario and Rosalina have been incredibly hard to find for the majority of those searching and Shulk is expected to be even harder. That search may finally begin today as reports say that many GameStop stores are starting to get in their Shulk amiibo as soon as today....

Konami has come out swinging with its Silent Hill Transmission, announcing not only a remake of the much loved Silent Hill 2 but new games in the series, one being titled Silent Hill: Townfall being developed by Annapurna Interactive and No Code, the latter being the team behind Stories Untold and Observation. The trailer debuted during the Silent Hill Transmission and didn’t give much away about the game actually is. The footage shows what appears to be a portable radio or TV accompanied by a voiceover talking to someone, presumably the player’s character....

Skate 3 for the Xbox 360 has been re-rated by Korea’s Game Rating Board. This might be a clue that it will finally be Xbox One backwards compatible very soon. The interesting part about Skate 3 being re-rated is that Electronic Arts Korea filed the game on May 18th, 2016 and the Game Rating Board approved it as of May 27th, 2016. There must be a reason for the game being re-rated and the only relevant explanation is that it will be Xbox One backwards compatible very soon....

At the Developer Conference in Brighton this week, SCEI president Andrew House went over how Sony came up with the initial plans for the Playstation 4 reveal. With both Microsoft and Sony working on their next-gen consoles at the time, there was much debate about who would fire the first shot. Sony ended up doing so in February of 2013 at a live event in New York. According to House, being the first one out of the gate was very important....

Sony’s Morbius, starring Jared Leto, is being pushed back again. This time the pushback is due to the Omicron surge. This is the sixth time Sony Studios has pushed the movie back. Sony’s Morbius was originally slated to be released in theaters on July 10, 202o. Due to the pandemic, the studio pushed it back to July 31, 2020. But the pandemic wasn’t getting any better, as we have seen, so Sony moved the movie to March 19, 2021, and then to October 8, 2021....

With The Game Awards 2018 come and gone, it’s time to evaluate the performances of all the different players at the event. Sadly, Sony didn’t have the role many thought it would have after cancelling PlayStation Experience 2018 and skipping E3 2019. No new games were announced, and we didn’t have trailers nor release dates/windows for exclusives such as Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams. Anyway, it looks like the Japanese platform owner is still in a good mood and wants to tease something about its lineup for the coming year....

As you may have known already, PSN was down for several hours yesterday. Sony will be compensating users for the troubles caused when the network was down. The official PlayStation Twitter page announced: “Thanks for your patience today – stay tuned for details on PS Plus, PS Now, and video rental extensions.” This basically means if you have a current subscription on PlayStation, you may get a few more day’s grace due to the outage that occurred yesterday....

Ultra violent in an almost comic sort of way, Splatterhouse delivers an exceptional game visually. If you are big fan of blood, guts, and various other internal organs chances are you are gonna get a kick out of the way that you are bathed in them as you play Splatterhouse....

Back at E3 while upcoming games were taking center stage, Square Enix showcased a video for their Lumines Engine, which may be used for developing games for the Xbox 720 and PS4. The video game publisher didn’t give much information about what we were seeing, or what games would be using the engine, but many think this could be the home of the next Final Fantasy game. Two of the characters featured in the Agni’s Philosophy E3 demo are being shown again, this time in a pair of videos that have surfaced on YouTube....

Respawn have let loose the reveal trailer for their upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and boy does it look good.
