Announced during the Viacom Investors Event held Tuesday, Paramount and Sega Corp have officially revealed a third installment of the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie series, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which is currently in development. This announcement comes even before the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which is set to come out on April 8, 2022. Morbius, the upcoming antihero movie from Sony Pictures, has been postponed by seven months. The Spider-Man spinoff, originally supposed to premiere in March, will arrive in October 2021. Sony has shared a PowerPoint briefing on its 2022 Business Segment, showcasing what the company plans to do to maximize profits for the PlayStation.
