Anyone who has played Beat Sabre should be familiar with the basic concept of Sound Art VR. Blocks fly at you and must be dispatched in time with the rhythm all in the comfort of glorious virtual reality. Sound Art VR does exactly this; only it allows you to add in any music off your choosing. Developed by 1 Man Studio, MercuryStudio, Sound Art is a rhythm game that takes anyone’s music library and turns it into generated levels of the game....

Sonic the Hedgehog was once on top of the gaming world alongside other icons like Mario, but over the last decade his star has dimmed with mostly disappointing outings. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, we got the very fun Sonic Generations and after much teasing, it sounds like we finally might get the reveal of something 25th anniversary related soon. The SXSW convention is being held in a week and a half and will be having a special panel dedicated to Sonic the Hedgehog, which will host Sonic’s original creator, as well as the current voice of Sonic and some others....

Spelunky is a classic among the indie games of the early 2010s. There’s so much to love in not only its humorous charm but also its wonderfully crafted levels. Developer Mossmouth put a lot of time into the original, and it clearly shows. To our surprise though, Spelunky 2 was announced at one of the recent PlayStation events this Summer. The wonderful mine dwelling title finally has a sequel, and now it’s time for PlayStation 4 users to start digging....

The amiibo releases for November were seemingly about over, with Falco set to arrive on Friday. However, some not so surprising news was revealed involving an exclusive release for a previous bundle only one that is coming before the month is over. Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash released last month for the 3DS and was a decent platforming experience. The game utilized a special Chibi-Robo amiibo that was exclusive to a bundle with the game, which is now going to be available outside of it....

The television adaptation of DC comics’ Stargirl was announced in 2018 with a promotional image earlier on this year offering fans a glimpse of actress Brec Bassinger in the Stargirl costume. The show will debut in on the DC Universe App in 2020. The good news for fans without the DC streaming service is that Stargirl has also found a home on The CW where each episode will be broadcast in a primetime slot the day after it appears on DC Universe....

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is constantly praised as the franchise that made superhero movies like Spider-Man a staple of modern cinema. Following its success, money-hungry studios started developing their own cinematic universes, albeit to lesser effect. Yet, the MCU did pave the way for Justice League, Wonder Woman, and more to grace our screens. But, in truth, it is Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films (and Bryan Singer’s X-Men movies) that paved the way for the MCU....

While Samsung was expected to unveil the Galaxy Fold 2 at its Galaxy Unpacked on the 5th of August, new information from XDA’s Max Weinbach hints that the company might skip the Galaxy Fold 2 at the digital event. Fold 2 isn’t happening at Unpacked. Moreover, in a separate tweet, Weinbach had hinted that the Fold 2’s launch might take at least until late September. However, we can’t be sure if the company would launch it in this timeline....

Sea of Thieves’ last Adventure saw players travel to the Sea of the Damned to save Merrick, who was prominently featured in a few different quests over the past few months. The next Adventure, however, is shifting the spotlight onto Belle, a mysterious figure who’s also closely tied to the Sea of the Damned. Titled The Sirens’ Prize, the new Adventure will run for two weeks, from September 15 through September 29....

As with Da’at: Minato and the Sign of Love/Water Nymph quests, Da’at: Shinagawa has its own choose-your-own-adventure side-quests. Those Seeking Sanctuary has you siding with the Lilim, which are Chaos-aligned demons typically while Holding The Line has you assisting Principality, which are very much Law-aligned Servants of God. You can only choose one quest to complete, as upon picking a side, the other quest auto-completes with no rewards. So which side should you choose?...

Smite is set to launch a Transformers-themed battle pass. The Smite x Transformers battle pass will allow players to equip existing Smite Gods with certain Transformers skins. Just announced at Pulse Con, an event focused on all things Hasbro, the partnership will bring a few of your favourite Transformers to the game in the form of skins. The reveal trailer provided a great look at skins, all whilst the classic 80s cartoon theme song is playing in the back which is sure to have fans full of nostalgia....

An early subquest has a tough decision to make. Early in Shin Megami Tensei V, players will encounter a quest called The Spirit of Love. Eventually, they’ll have to choose between Leanan Sidhe or Asparas in order to complete the quest. Siding with Asparas will continue the initial Spirit of Love questline while choosing to side with Leanan Sidhe will begin an entirely new quest called The Water Nymph. Shin Megami Tensei V can be an incredibly punishing game, so players will want to make the right choice here....

Director Jeff Fowler just announced that Sonic the Hedgehog has been delayed from its original November 2019 release date to February 14th, 2020. After receiving such harsh feedback on Sonic’s new look, Paramount made the decision to redesign the character so we all don’t have to see a Sonic that has human teeth....

Sony and Disney have announced a handful of new release dates for their upcoming Marvel films. According to Deadline, Sony has made many changes to its theatrical release schedule. This has caused Disney to slightly readjust its own schedule after recently reworking it. Sony is pushing the third entry in its Spider-Man franchise from July 16th, 2021 to November 5th, 2021. Disney will be financing 25% of the film, which were the terms in the rectified deal between the two studios last year....

For Mass Effect 3 fans that are patiently awaiting DLC, Sony may have just revealed what’s on deck for the RPG. Sony’s Hong Kong website has listed “The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion” as upcoming content for the game, but unfortunately the description doesn’t look like its going to include that ending elaboration that Bioware promised fans. Sony and Insomniac Games have announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man has sold-through 9 million copies. The game, a PlayStation 4 exclusive, has been released in early September and the copies count’s stopped at November 25, 2018. This means the title has managed to sell all this copies – properly sell, not just ship to retailers – in a matter of slightly more than three months. The amount of sold copies is destined to further raise next time Sony details them, which should be in around March by their fiscal year’s end....

It’s no doubt that Square Enix has made a huge investment on Final Fantasy 15 after working on the game for so many years. The company is predicting that the game will do very well when it comes out. Square Enix reported on its most recent financial earnings and it forecasted what it could make in the current fiscal year ending on March 31st, 2017. Square Enix anticipates that its revenue will increase between 16....

Starting with a new Life is Strange game Fans looking for updates on Final Fantasy 7 Remake and many other games will have something to be excited for with the reveal of Square Enix Presents. This new video series will be used by the hugely popular publisher to announce new games and offer more details on already revealed titles such as Outriders. The series will continue throughout the year, starting on March 18th at 1pm Eastern Time....

Netflix recently announced the second season of Squid Game, its most successful and one of the best TV series available on the platform. The announcement came through Netflix’s official social channels, which hyped the fans globally. At first, writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk mentioned the possibility of moving forward with the series. However, he wasn’t sure if that would work since most K-dramas conclude in a single season....
