Stardew Valley’s most recent major 1.5 update is on-track for console release, according to core game developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. Barone believes a release of “late this month” or “early next month” is likely, considering the amount of time a game certification submission takes. Stardew Valley’s update 1.5 arrived for PC on December 21, 2020, and it’s the most extensive update for the game so far. Most notable features from the update include the addition of the Beach Farm, new character options, split-screen cooperative play, brand new music, the Advanced Game Options Menu, and many other reforms....

New Wave Toys has announced the Street Fighter II: Champion Edition X RepliCade mini arcade cabinet. The 12” arcade cabinet is a faithful recreation of the classic fighting game machine and is officially licensed from Capcom. Warner Bros. has now uploaded the second trailer for Suicide Squad today. We get to see more of our favorite characters like The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot. The new Suicide Squad trailer has Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody playing in the background. The trailer is a lot more humorous than the one we saw at Comic Con last July. That’s not to say the movie is a comedy, it just has some funny moments....

Surprisingly, Sony has announced that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is going to be playable at the PlayStation Experience 2018 South East Asia. As you might know, there are two PlayStation Experience planned each year: one coming December for the western territories, and the other planned for later this August in Bangkok, Thailand. Sekiro, which got announced with a HUD-less gameplay trailer at E3 2018, is reported among the playable titles at the Sony booth, as the Japanese platform holder is set to publish it in the territory, alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil 2....

A German gaming publication recently published images in a preview of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 which indicate that Sentinel may be headed to the upcoming fighters cast of characters. In Elden Ring, players will face threats right from the start while exploring the vast map. One of the first enemies you will meet is the Tree Sentinel located at Limgrave near the Church Of Elleh. Players can choose to fight the Tree Sentinel, but we recommend you sneak past it during the early phase of the game. Michael Grzesiek, commonly referred to as his streamer handle “Shroud,” is making his official move to Mixer. The streaming platform operating out of Seattle is owned by Microsoft’s, which launched on Jan. 5, 2016. Prepping the console for the arrival of the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC, Bethesda has released patch 1.8 for the RPG. The patch includes bug fixes for the following problems that have persisted. This update is scheduled to arrive on the PlayStation 3 as well, but Bethesda doesn’t have a timeline for its release. The update arrives ahead of the third scheduled expansion for the game, Skyrim Dragonborn, which is due out first on the Xbox 360 on December 4th for 1600 Microsoft Points....

Activision Blizzard has its annual meeting in just under a month, and between the company’s acquisition by Microsoft and the ongoing repercussions of its poor response to a toxic workplace culture, it sounds like there will be plenty to discuss. Sony is no stranger to having security issues, with the PlayStation Network falling victim to several attacks that have caused both the company and its fans multiple headaches. However, we now know that the company is taking strides to improve the security and try and reduce the headaches for everyone involved. Speaking with Polygon, a Sony spokesperson revealed that it will be bringing two-factor authentication to the service. They said that this is being done in order to “further safeguard our users and their accounts,” though the representative goes on to say that “more details will be shared at a later date....
