The PlayStation Network has been brought to its knees by recent attacks on the online gaming network. Sony has finally issued a statement regarding the network downtime, and it appears that the PSN has been breached by an unknown attacker. “An external intrusion on our system has affected our PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. In order to conduct a thorough investigation and to verify the smooth and secure operation of our network services going forward, we turned off PlayStation Network & Qriocity services on the evening of Wednesday, April 20th,” Sony explained on the PlayStation blog....

The PlayStation Network has been down for a rock solid three weeks now, and the cold realities of real financial distress have begun to set in. Epic Games and Disney have announced that another Star Wars character will be making their way onto the Fortnite island. Canadian director Jean-Marc Vallée died suddenly on Christmas day at the age of 58. Hollywood stars, in particular those who worked with him, are now expressing their grief on social media. Deadline reports that Vallée passed away in his cabin outside Quebec City, leaving his family and close advisers in shock. WayForward Technologies has revealed that notable Japanese animation studio, Trigger Studios, will be working on the opening animation for Shantae 5.
