NAMCO BANDAI recently revealed the Collector’s Edition for SoulCalibur V, but it is the roster’s new guest that will have people buzzing and perhaps prove to be more profitable for the game itself. Firstly, SoulCalibur V will ship with an official soundtrack, making-of video content, hardcover art book and the Dark Knight and White Knight downloadable armor sets for Character Creation Mode. That’s all well and good, but the news that everyone’s favorite assassin, Ezio Auditore, will be a playable character is pretty monumental....

Spider-Man: Far From Home released this past Tuesday, an unusual release date for movies, to surpass records even Avengers: Endgame couldn’t reach. It seems as if the Fourth of July came early as fans went in droves to support the wall-crawlers latest explosive adventure. The July 2nd debut has the highest overall Tuesday gross of any flick that ever been released. Far From Home is the 23rd movie in the MCU and closes out what has now been dubbed as the “Infinity Saga“....

Although Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been well-received by fans since its release, it’s not a flawless experience. Fortunately, a new patch for the game is set to go live later this week to fix them. The official Jedi: Fallen Order subreddit page details the patch, which will hit PC later today and “shortly afterwards” on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With it, a number of slight issues some players have run across will be repaired....

At their Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2021 conference, Square Enix showcased a new trailer for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin featuring more of the game’s story, some new characters, and release date. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is set in the same setting as Final Fantasy 1. Players assume the role of Jack, who is accompanied by his allies, Ash and Jed. They are set out on a journey to defeat Garland, who is known as Chaos by our main cast....

Games change hands every so often, and now Microsoft’s IP Sunset Overdrive has a new home at Sony’s game studio. The title initially launched as an Xbox One exclusive when it came out. While some gamers might believe this sounds like a potential revival for the wacky franchise, fans of Sunset Overdrive may want to weigh down their expectations. Despite Sony picking it up, they don’t seem to have too much interest in giving the franchise a proper boost into popular culture....

I’ve been playing Super Mario 3D All-Stars quite a lot since its release, and it’s safe to say that I’m loving all the Mario that’s on offer, even if there have been some issues. Released on September 18th, Super Mario 3D All-Stars features three fantastic Mario games, namely Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine (The best one), and Super Mario Galaxy. The omission of Galaxy 2 is a sore point for many (myself included), but what is here is great....

Nintendo Switch exclusive Super Mario Odyssey has entered the Japanese sales charts with huge numbers, according with Media Create. The platforming game sold 462.038 in its first week, which is by far the biggest launch ever for a 3D Mario game. Previous best-selling debuts include Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Wii (339.901) and Super Mario 3D Land for 3DS (343.492). While it could seem as Odyssey will not have much trouble breaking the 1 million mark, it will be interesting to see if it can get close to the more than 2 million that the 3DS entry has sold to this day....

The release date and system requirements have now been revealed for the PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome. Ryse: Son of Rome for PC comes out 11 months after it was released first for Xbox One last year. It has a release date of October 10th on Steam and will only cost you $39.99. If you missed out the game on Xbox One, now is your chance to pick up the game for PC....

Avatar star Sam Worthington has announced that he will be joining comedian and actor Kevin Hart in Hart’s new heist thriller, entitled Lift. Sam Worthington, best known for his role as Jake Sully in Avatar by James Cameron, will be reprising his role in the upcoming sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, which will premiere in December 2022. Along with Worthington, Burn Gorman, Jean Reno, and Spider-Man: No Way Home star Jacob Batalon are also stated to join the cast of Lift, which will be directed by F....

It’s Wednesday once again and for the Smite community this means one thing, the latest patch notes for the free-to-play MOBA have been revealed. Ever since Google started rolling out Android 9 Pie to its Pixel devices other smartphone manufacturers, including Essential and Xiaomi, have started releasing the Android update for their devices. The Splatoon line of amiibo figures is set to increase this year. Nintendo revealed that a Marina amiibo and Pearl amiibo will be coming to retail in the future. Marina and Pearl are star idols from the band Off the Hook and serve as Splatoon 2’s main news team, telling players which maps are currently in rotation and what Splatfest is coming up next. Marina will be the first Octoling to get a Splatoon-themed amiibo....

Ubisoft will be bringing Splinter Cell: Blacklist to the Wii U in August alongside the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the game. The Wii U version will launch on August 20th, with GamePad specific features that allow you to mark enemies, and use Sam Fisher’s other gadgetry. This should come as no surprise to those paying attention. Splinter Cell: Blacklist was outed for the Wii U months ago when a resume for one of Ubisoft’s developers listed them having worked on a Wii U version of the game....
