The Rachni continue to be a problem in Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition. You initially encountered the last Rachni Queen in the first game, and you had the choice to free her or let her die. Sim City is due out next week for PC and some have already taken offense to the new game for not allowing those with stronger computers to build bigger cities. While Maxis has already clarified that it’s a performance issue, they may be planning to let players build bigger worlds after the game has launched. Bungie has outlined changes coming to some of Destiny 2’s Exotic armors. Nine Exotics, three for each class, will be getting some substantial buffs in an upcoming update. The developer has spent the better part of this year buffing Exotics, both weapons and armors, to make them feel like the rarity that they are. Previous updates have helped change the game, such as buffs to the Graviton Lance pulse rifle or Lunafaction Boots for Warlocks....

Sonic Frontiers will be accessible to millions of fans around the world. Publisher Sega has announced that the game will be completely voiced and localized in several different languages. As seen in the tweet below, Sonic Frontiers will have combined voice acting and subtitles not only in English and Japanese, but also in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The next six languages that will have subtitles but not voice acting are Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional)....

Update (3/29/21): Sony has now informed its users that the dedicated PlayStation Stores for the PS3 and PSP will be shut down on July 2, with PS Vita’s store to close on August 27. The announcement was made via the PlayStation website’s Support section, which confirmed digital titles on these platforms can no longer be purchased after the respective dates. According to the site, the closures of the PS3, PS Vita, and PSP store will not influence games that have been bought beforehand....

Despite Anonymous flat-out denying any involvement in the PSN security breach, Sony claims that the group is responsible for the most recent cyber attacks on the Sony Online Entertainment Servers. In a recent address to Congress, Sony aknowledged their role in the recent theft of thousands of customer credit cards and other personal data. Sony told the United States Congress that “we discovered that the intruders had planted a file on our Sony Online Entertainment servers named “Anonymous” with the words “We are Legion” in the file....

Sony has just announced its answer to the Xbox Elite controller, dubbed the DualSense Edge; PlayStation’s offering is more than just a superficial upgrade. The “high performance” controller is customizable to an impressive degree, easily trading blows with the Xbox Elite Controller. The company has taken some of the best features from the Elite controller and some of the third-party “pro” controllers. With removable analog thumbstick, rear paddle buttons, swappable analog stick tops, and the ability to create and store different custom profiles....

Update Since initially posting its report, GameByte staff have applied for lateral flow test collection and received the same email. They have confirmed that the QR code in the email they received opens Plague Inc., but that the email still functions as intended, allowing them to get their lateral flow tests. This confirms that the email isn’t spam at all, but the product of a strange error in the QR code....

Ryu Ga Gotoku, the developer behind the well-known Yakuza series may be revealing the next entry in the series in the coming days.
