On a digital storefront far, far away. An as of yet unannounced Star Wars game has leaked online, simply titled Star Wars: Project Maverick. The game and corresponding artwork were first discovered by a Twitter bot called PSN releases, which posts a tweet any time a new title is added to the PlayStation Store. The game itself is just called Maverick, but the iconic font (and the Star Wars logo) reveal that this is indeed a brand new Star Wars game....

Star Wars: Squadrons released early October and has been a hit for die-hard Star Wars fans and flight simulator junkies who love flying behind a joystick. On October 30, Disney+ will see the first episode of the second season for The Mandalorian, the popular television show set in the Star Wars universe following a Mandalorian and a Yoda-like baby, only known as ‘the child.’ The pair will continue their reign of adventures, and Star Wars: Squadron fans can celebrate it with new in-game cosmetics to place inside their ships....

Today’s the day. Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time finally released worldwide today. The game is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (both Steam and Epic Games Store) for $39.99. Although developed as a spin-off, Battle Through Time story is written by season five‘s head writer Darrick Bachman and carefully integrated with the series finale. Bringing along the original casts including Phil LaMarr and John DiMaggio. Trapped by Aku in an alternate timeline during their final confrontation, Jack has to team up with his closest allies to go back to the past (again) and save the future....

A group of modders called TES Renewal are attempting to bring past Elder Scrolls titles into their more up-to-date engines. The current project, called Skywind, is taking The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and updating it to the Skyrim engine. This means you’ll be able to play through the story and world of the classic open-world RPG with greater visual fidelity than ever before. The work can be seen in the trailer below, showing off various parts of the Morrowing world, but with the greater graphical capability that was displayed in 2011’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim....

Bethesda Game Studios has begun the rollout of Skyrim update 1.8. Right now, the update only outlines some bug fixes on the PC and is available only on Steam. Skyrim developers anticipate that this update will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at a later date, but whether it is groundwork for future Skyrim DLC or not wasn’t addressed in the announcement. Bethesda has said that are new details on the way about Skyrim content development, but that there was nothing to share at this time....

If you’ve finished Solar Ash and unlocked Hardcore Mode, then you’re ready to take on the game’s hardest difficulty level. Each one ramps up the challenge by further shortening the timer for boss fights and clearing anomalies. On lower difficulty levels, there’s some room for error — you can usually recover from a small fumble. That’s not the case at all with Hardcore Mode. The timer is essentially only the exact amount of time needed to perfectly execute a boss strategy or black ooze run, so you’re going to need to be on point all the time....
