UPDATE 3: Konami has issued a statement regarding the future of the series which you can read about here. UPDATE 2: There has been some debate about the ultimate fate of Silent Hills, largely based around the fact that Guillermo Del Toro was responding to the question of what it was like collaborating with Kojima. While there is no official word about Silent Hills being cancelled, the evidence seems clear, especially with Norman Reedus’ response added into the mix....

Bethesda has rolled out update 1.5 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the Xbox 360. Bethesda Game Studios has also said that the PlayStation 3 version of the patch is on the way, and could arrive “as early as this afternoon”. PC players have had the latest patch for some time, and it brings some significant improvements to the Skyrim experience. Notably, new kill-cams have been added to the mix, so you can expect your adventure in the land of Skyrim to get a bit more violent....

Sledgehammer Games, the developers who brought you Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare that was greeted with mixed review from the playerbase and are apart of the three year developer cycle for producing the Call Of Duty titles are starting the new year off in the biggest way they can. This, of course, is teasing on Twitter what fans of the Call Of Duty franchise can expect to see be released once November rolls around....

I’m a big fan of the Sly Cooper series and after watching this gameplay video I’m happy to say that the developers have stayed true to the art design that made the previous games what they were. The graphics are definitely touched up a bit more for the PS3, but thankfully the colorful environments and saturated colors that characterize the Sly Cooper universe are still there. Another element that’s clearly still there are the epic boss battles which no Sly Cooper game is complete without and those too, have been kicked up a notch for Thieves In Time....

Sony has announced during a presentation in Japan the first batch of PlayStation video games that will be making their way to the mobile gaming market. Despite many mobile games not offering the same experience as PC and console gaming, you cannot deny their popularity. One just has to look at Pokemon Go to know that mobile gaming is a lucrative business. The Japanese PlayStation Twitter account has revealed some of the games coming to the mobile gaming market....

Marvel’s Spider-Man was one of the best selling games last year, and one of those critics fell in love with. From the looks of it, we’ll be getting a sequel very soon, as Insomniac Games has revealed it’s already working on it. It’s still very early, of course, but the creative director has shared he also already submitted the “first story draft” for Spider-Man 2. Research tokens in Spider-Man PS4 are another one of the game’s currency items that allow you to purchase upgrades for your abilities as well as unlock new suits to use. These tokens are earned by completing specific missions in the game and are pretty easy to get if you know where to look. These tokens are tied to Research Missions which can be found in the open world and are denoted by a purple microscope....

Amid ongoing rumors, changes to Spyro the Dragon’s website and a package delivered from a Twitter account, which is followed by the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter, imply a Spyro remaster is on the way. News first broke after IGN received a strange package from someone named “Falcon McBob.” The website’s associate news editor, Jonathon Dornbush, turned to Twitter and said he received a “purple, scaly egg” from McBob, who owns the protected Twitter Account “@SpyroTheDragon....

The Steam Summer Sale has been off and running for an entire work week as we have now approached day six of the sale. With insane deals day after day, you will be tempted again and again. After a day yesterday with daily deals that were mostly smaller titles and not quite as expensive, we got the exact opposite today. While there are still some cheap games in the bunch, like one of my personal favorite games of 2013, Brothers: A Tale of a Two Sons, there are a few more expensive options with the very recent Murdered: Soul Suspect and even Call of Duty: Ghosts....

Street Fighter 6 is coming next year — specifically, in June, if a recent PlayStation Store leak is to be believed. As it turns out, the release date isn’t the only thing about Street Fighter 6 that’s leaking. It looks like four additional characters will be added as DLC during the game’s first year of content. Video game Twitter favorite @Wario64 looked at some listings for Street Fighter 6, and they uncovered additional information about its Deluxe Edition....

After analyzing the user performance on Street Fighter V since the launch of Season 2, the team developer has decided to release a patch in April that affects the balance of the cast, trying that those characters currently underpowered have a better chance against their stronger rivals. Part of the changes will affect the system as a whole, and others are individual adjustments for the characters. The system changes include activating V-Reversal 1 frame earlier, in a way that now it makes no difference whether the character is standing or in a crouch block....

Peach’s castle needs to be rebuild in Mario Maker 2, and it is up to Mario to secure funds to help with construction. The story mode starts off in an empty field, with nothing but Mario and some toads. Toadette is among the crew. You need to receive coins by doing jobs....

Samsung is ready to bring the Galaxy A9 to India and the four-camera phone will be unveiled for the Indian market on November 20. Undoubtedly, the Galaxy A9’s highlight is that four-camera array on the back, stacked vertically on the 3D glass curved back. Among those four lenses is a 2x Optical Zoom 10MP telephoto f/2.4 lens, which lets you go in tight on the subject. Then there’s the Ultra Wide 120-degree 8MP Lens with f/2....

With today’s 5.3 update in Fortnite: Battle Royale, one major change is coming to the game’s map —say goodbye to Tomato Town. Tomato Town is not a town at all anymore, as it’s been replaced with a jungle temple and renamed to Tomato Temple. The tomato head is still there, though, and he’s looking as regal as ever with a makeshift crown on his head. The change was first spotted and named on Twitter by @FNLeak, who posted the unlockable loading screen for finishing all of week eight’s challenges....

Shang Chi, everyone’s favorite MCU master of kung fu, is gearing up for his sequel already. As the first Phase 4 movie set after Avengers: Endgame, he had a lot to live up to. Niantic has announced a new event in Pokémon Go to celebrate Valentine’s Day. In order to celebrate this time of love and romance Luvdisc, the Love Pokémon, will start spawning more frequently until Feb. 15. If a trainer captures a Luvdisc during this time, they will be rewarded three times as much Stardust as usual for each one they catch. Stardust is important for powering up your Pokémon, so make sure to catch as many Luvdiscs as you can to take over nearby gyms or fight against powerful legendary Raid Pokémon....

The Destiny 2 campaign for The Witch Queen will have Guardians taking the fight to Savathûn’s territory, the Throne World. There, you’ll be learning about how she acquired the Light and was able to give it to her Hive Knights. Before you jump into the campaign, you’ll have the option to playthrough it on the Normal or Legendary difficulty.
