Sony’s Tower Defense MMO game The Tomorrow Children will be shutting off its servers come November 1st, according to Sony. The Sony exclusive game launched last October, giving the game just over a year of life before Sony will pull its plug. Originally revealed at Sony’s 2014 Gamescom conference, The Tomorrow Children was to be the company’s answer to Minecraft and other co-operative building games that were picking up steam. Square Enix announced on their official website that they have taken action against nearly 6,000 player accounts who have been committing illicit activities in Final Fantasy XIV, namely those who engaged in real-money trading. These players’ accounts were terminated between February 25 to March 3. Developer Stunlock Studios has announced that its open-world vampire title V Rising will hit Steam early access next month. This will be the first time that players experience the evolving world built for the game outside of its betas. V Rising launches in early access on May 17. This means that the game should receive regular updates since the developer is still actively working on it. If you purchase it and play it, you’ll be a part of the player base that helps influence the game it will eventually become when the full version launches....
Starship Troopers - Terran Command may face yet another delay. Fans were told by the marketing director, Marco A. Minoli, that he wasn’t sure if they would be able to keep the Steam release date. Starship Troopers - Terran Command was delayed from 2021 to March 31, 2022, and is likely to be delayed once again. At the end of a Teatime with Slitherine (Timestamp: 42:09), Minoli explained that they would hopefully be able to announce a release date for Starship Troopers....
It looks like there’s a new Steam Summer Sale on the way, and of course, it has been leaked ahead of the official reveal. The Summer Sale will reportedly be kicking off on June 25, 2019, and will feature two weeks of discounts on PC games sold on the platform. To be honest, I’ve always been waiting eagerly for Steam sales to kick off, but it’s coming out of a couple of years where they proved they’re not as good as in the past....
Stranded Sails looks like a combination between Harvest Moon and The Legend of Zelda, but with a pirate theme. If that sounds awesome then it should come as no surprise that after its initial announcement on Steam it racked up an impressive number of wishlist adds. Digital Foundry has made a video looking at Saints Row IV on both the PS3 and PS4. The graphics comparison video looks at the gameplay and cutscenes for both the PS3 and PS4 versions of Saints Row IV. The game came out way back in 2013, but is being re-released with lots of new content for PS4 and Xbox One owners. The PS3 version of Saints Row IV looks inferior to the PS4 version....
There’s no doubt that the VR headset market is dominated by the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets when it comes to the gaming sector at least. There is, however, a whole other segment of the virtual/augmented/mixed reality market out there and Microsoft is driving a lot of hardware manufacturers to expand it. Samsung has today announced the new and improved Odyssey+ mixed reality headset. Whether or not the Samsung HMD Odyssey+ is very suitable for gaming will remain to be seen, but it does offer Steam VR support, in addition to the Windows MR support....
Just a few days ago, Chinese tipster @MMDDJ leaked the alleged renders of an upcoming Samsung smartphone called the Galaxy A8s that will feature a cutout located at the upper left corner of the screen. Samsung has today confirmed that the Galaxy A8s with an Infinity-O display will be announced in at an event in China on December 10. Samsung teased the Galaxy A8s back in October at the launch event of the Galaxy A6s and A9s in China, indicating that the upcoming smartphone will feature a truly bezel-less design and an in-display camera....

Today the No Man’s Sky community was given a rather foreboding message from Sean Murray, founder of the game’s developer Hello Games. After posting a message in the language found in No Man’s Sky, fans quickly got to work decoding it and found it to be less insightful than his other tweets and much more ominous. The message translates to “Look to the Monolith… The weapon is coming.” It’s about as clear as every other cryptic message Murray has posted on Twitter, but this time players strongly believe it is linked with the most recent content update for the game....
