At a recent event in New Delhi, Samsung launched its first smartphone to feature a triple rear camera setup – the Galaxy A7 (2018). The device packs in a 24MP primary lens, coupled with a 5MP lens for depth perception and an 8MP 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens, all of which will allow users to take some stunning images with the device. While the device comes with a minimum of 64GB of internal storage, which should give users plenty of room to install their apps and store their content, it’s great to see Samsung introducing new features that will really be beneficial in entry-level devices....

The Showtime drama series Yellowjackets has been renewed for Season 2. The series jumps from past to present detailing the survival of a girls soccer team fighting for survival after a plane crash and the girls all grown up. Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, and Tawny Cypress play the adult versions. Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the series and are executive producers. Jonathan Lisco is also an executive producer and a co-showrunner....

Snapchat is apparently testing a new strategy to co-exist with TikTok. The company is leveraging its expertise in Augmented Reality to release four new lenses that replicate viral TikTok dance challenges. To make this a reality, the company partnered with four TikTok personalities, or as Snapchat calls them, ‘Snap Stars’. Meanwhile, Facebook-owned Instagram is continuing its efforts to become the next TikTok. The company brought the feature to India last month and expanded it to over 50 countries earlier this month....

The TNT post-apocolyptic series Snowpiecer is coming to an end. The network has just announced that Snowpiercer Season 4 will also be the series’ last. Snowpiercer Season 4 is currently in production. Allegedly, TNT’s Snowpiercer got canceled because the cast’s options were coming up and were not picked up, releasing the actors to book other jobs. Either way, this is the end of the tracks for the popular network series, and the train will not be reaching its hoped-for destination in Season 5....

Sonic fans will get to enjoy a new Sonic adventure before 2023. Sonic Prime, the new Netflix series featuring the iconic character from the beloved Sega franchise, has received some love in recent years. During the Inside Xbox E3 2018 special broadcast, Phil Spencer commented the acquisition of new studios announced back at its media briefing, adding that the move was “needed” and that there might be more acquisition in the future. “Those are the studios we’ve had a long relationship with. We were able to invest in them in a way that’s going to unlock their creative potential.
