Sea of Thieves has been working to grow its narrative over the past few years, and for the most part, has succeeded. Rare, the developers, have announced a new experience coming to Sea of Thieves in an attempt to drive the narrative even further. These experiences are limited-time events known as Adventures, with the first one known as Shrouded islands, beginning on Feb. 17 and running until March 3. During the Sea of Thieves 2022 preview event, the developers revealed that they are looking to release a new Adventure each and every month, with a big finale Adventure that brings each Season to a close....

A trailer has been dropped for Season 2 of the HBO teen drama series Euphoria, starring Zendaya. It foreshadows more drug use, more hook-ups, a suitcase, and guns. The synopsis for Season 2 of Euphoria reads: “Amidst the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss, and addiction.” From the trailer, it’s unclear where Rue and Jule’s (played by Hunter Schafer) relationship stands....

Nintendo is hyping up its Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 Switch version launch, and for good reason. Bayonetta is an excellent action game that felt fantastic on its original consoles, and will no doubt be just as fantastic on the Switch. But if you remain unconvinced, you can check out a couple short gameplay videos posted via the official Japanese website for the Switch versions. When Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was first announced, I was bitterly disappointed. I was really hoping for and expecting, an announcement for Bloodborne 2. Starfield is Xbox’s biggest release confirmed for 2022 with most notably a new engine being used by developer Bethesda Softworks, but according to a supposed former employee at the studio, the engine isn’t what it’s all cracked up to be. Canadian singer and songwriter Shania Twain poses topless letting everyone know she’s comfortable in her own skin as she drops a new single. The 57-year-old Grammy award winner looked startling wearing a fringe skirt and heeled boots. She used a cowboy hat and her hands to cover her ‘ta-tas.’ The singer disclosed that she has many things on the way in an interview with The Sun. Aside from stripping off for her art, and performing with Harry Styles in April, she hinted at plans to bring her life story to the big screen....

Shazam! Fury of the Gods has found its villain – and she’s being played by Dame Helen Mirren. Deadline and THR report that The Queen star is signed on to play the villain Hespera in the superhero sequel. The character is a daughter of Atlas, whose stamina Shazam! possesses in the movie and comics. Mirren reportedly shares her villainous role with Rachel Zelger, as “sisters who both may or may not be of ill intent”....

Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Shirley Knight has died of natural causes at her daughter’s home in San Marcos, TX. She was 83. Famed for her varied and long career, Knight had her breakthrough role in the Delbert Mann film adaptation of William Inge’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, receiving a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination. She was nominated in the same category for her portrayal of the lovestruck Heavenly Finley opposite Paul Newman and Geraldine Page in Richard Brooks’ 1962 adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth....

Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog might have a chance to play to a board game version of their favourite games if creators Shinobi 7 are successful in their funding campaign recently launched on Kickstarter. Their product is called Sonic the Hedgehog: Battle Racers, and is a Sega-approved board game representation of the classic adventures seen on the videogames, only adapted as a competitive race between five characters in which they need to collect as many rings as possible, avoid possible traps, and eliminate any Badniks they find in their way....

Sony announced at CinemaCon that they are making a sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife. According to Deadline, this will be the fifth film in the Ghostbusters franchise. The original Ghostbusters and its first sequel were directed by the late Ivan Reitman, who passed away in February. Ghostbusters: Afterlife was directed by Reitman’s son Jason, and it took place several years after the events of Ghostbusters II. While the film’s reviews were mixed, it still performed well enough at the box office and with fas to merit a sequel....

Backward capability has always been a feature that almost every fan hopes is available in every new console generation. Who wouldn’t want to play their old PlayStation 1 or PlayStation 2 games on their brand new PlayStation 5? Sony has, for the most part, ignored backward capabilities for older games like the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 2, to the detriment of fans. A recent report from popular data miner HYPEX suggests that Spider-Man’s Mythic Web Shooters will be added in competitive Fortnite from next week. The Mythic weapon has become the crown jewel of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, as it is instrumental for rotation in the current meta. Instead of having a full cartridge of 80 shots, Spider-Man’s Mythic Web Shooters will have only 20 shots in Fortnite competitive. This adjustment was made to encourage discretion amongst players for making strategic choices with this rotational tool....

Developer Spike Chunsoft has revealed their intentions to develop games for the Nintendo NX console in the near future. The studio was interviewed by Esuteru (via Reddit) on future hardware decisions. After the studio makes several games on PS4, they would like to branch out to the Nintendo NX. The studio said after they will focus their efforts on the PS4, then they will make games on “Nintendo’s new platform, the NX“....

Splatoon 3 already saw a few patches throughout its first month, but the latest is easily its biggest one yet.
