Sony has announced the acquisition of Insomniac Games a few hours ago and delivered more details on that thanks to a couple of interviews with Shawn Layden, the boss at SIE Worldwide Studios. Pokémon Unite just unveiled its biggest patch since its launch: a Halloween Festival which will run from October 20 to November 7. In addition to the launch of a new Pokémon, Greedent, and several new Halloween-themed clothing and holowear, the Halloween Festival also includes a new method of playing the core game, which is available as a quick battle and involves throwing pumpkins onto Pokémon’s heads. Quick battle now defaults to Halloween in Mer Stadium....

Subnautica: Below Zero is all set to get a final price increase just before its full launch in 2021. Unknown Worlds Entertainment’s sequel to the popular underwater survival game, Subnautica, was released on Early Access back in January 2019. Currently, it is available for $19.99 on Steam, Epic Games, Discord, and Humble, but after January 5, 2021, it will be priced at $29.99. As of now, the developers haven’t announced when the game will be coming out of Early Access, apart from hinting at an early 2021 release window....

After failing to fall within Australia’s rating restrictions twice, Saints Row 4 has finally been given a classification in Australia. The censored version will cut an optional mission which involves using virtual alien narcotics by the player according to the games publisher, Deep Silver. Deep Silver said “To achieve this rating one loyalty mission featuring the character Shaundi has been removed” and that “The mission represents approximately 20 minutes of gameplay out of the hours available to purchasers....
