The much awaited Mewtwo DLC for Super Smash Bros. on both Wii U and 3DS finally arrived earlier today for those that received codes through Club Nintendo, though he will not be put on sale until later this month. Mewtwo happened to come alongside a brand new update that we told you about, but it appears that something in the programming involving Mewtwo is causing some gamers to not be able to play online at all on the Wii U version exclusively....

He’s finally here. It finally happened. Minecraft Steve is in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Steve is the second DLC character of Fighters Pass Vol. 2 following the release of Min Min in June. Steve’s moveset pulls most of the tools and items he uses from Minecraft and allows him to do some absolutely silly things that no Smash Ultimate character has been able to do before. He can upgrade his tools and attacks with raw materials he mines from the stage, and he can place blocks anywhere on the stage for defensive or offensive strategies....

Zero Hour does little to forward Battlefield 2042’s momentum. Battlefield 2042‘s first season is finally launching on June 9, and what could have been a soft relaunch of one of last year’s most troubled shooters won’t really end up doing much to help the game’s dwindling playerbase. Earlier this week CBE Software made an announcement revealing why they made the decision to cut hours of gameplay content from their newly released game called Someday You’ll Return. This decision was made to improve the game after feedback from players. Despite how the game seemed promising initially, and the countless praise the game received for having both excellent atmosphere and intriguing and fun puzzles, it seems the product they released was not up CBE Software’s standards....

Respawn has some exciting news for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fans days after previews of a near-final version of the game went online. It’s officially all set to go, and the game has gone gold. Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind the ambitious single-player adventure, sent out a tweet today confirming that Fallen Order has officially gone gold. That means it should meet its November 15 release date with no problem....

Valve has just kicked-off the Spring Edition of the Steam Game Festival that highlights 40 new and unreleased games that were originally set to be announced at GDC 2020 before the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The games come from small, independent game developers who have been hard hit by the cancellation of the conference. The festival started Wednesday, March 18, and will continue until Monday, March 23....

Two protagonists, two players? Bandai Namco is readying the release of Scarlet Nexus, a self-described “Brain Punk” action RPG. The brain-powered Other Suppression Force (OSF) leverage their supernatural abilities to combat the mutant monstrosities descending from the sky. Standing ahead of the non-playable OSF members are protagonists, Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall, which posses the powers of psychokinesis. Given the inclusion of two main characters, cooperative play seems like a reasonable expectation, right?...

Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira will reprise their The Walking Dead roles for a new Rick and Michonne spinoff. The series is set to release in 2023.
