Marvel is giving Sabretooth his own team of supervillains in the upcoming Sabretooth & The Exiles #1. Per CBR, this new limited series comes from writer Victor LaValle and artist Leonard Kirk. All five issues follow Wolverine’s nemesis as he escapes the Krakoan prison and his fellow exiles. What havoc could these newly freed mutants possibly unleash?

What Happens in Sabretooth & The Exiles #1?

A short synopsis for the first issue of the limited series announces that Sabretooth is taking his destiny into his clawed hands! The terrifying mutant is banished to the Pit after breaking the rules of the mutant utopia, Krakoa. However, now that he is free, Victor Creed is ready to show the world that nothing can hold him back.

Unfortunately for Creed, the Exiles from Krakoa are in hot pursuit, kicking off a new chapter in this fan-favorite saga. Plus, when Dr. Barrington manages to nab Sabretooth, the clawed mutant will have a fight on his hands to survive. This is one limited series you will not want to miss!

How Did He Get In The Pit?

For those not keeping up with the machinations of Krakoa, Sabretooth has spent most of his time on Krakoa locked away. Instead of joining the peaceful mutant paradise, Creed continued his murderous ways. After pleading guilty to murdering humans at Project Achilles, the Quiet Council exiled the mutant to the Pit.

Sabretooth is soon joined by other exiled mutants. They included Melter, Oya, Near, and Madison Jeffries. While Creed initially tried to murder the other exiles, he soon came up with a plan to use them to get revenge. Eventually, Sabretooth managed to escape his Krakoan prison (during his own series), and Cypher released his fellow exiles to hunt him down. Unfortunately, Sabretooth gets caught by the Orchis Corporation and tested on. He is last seen entering a facility in a wheelchair and utters the phrase, “To me, my exiles.”

You can catch up with these villains when Sabretooth & The Exiles #1 releases on November 9.
