Sackboy A Big Adventure might not be a PlayStation exclusive anymore.

It seems like Sony is loosening its exclusivity stance and we might see another PlayStation game come to PC. A new leak has surfaced, claiming that Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be coming to PC soon. This year already, we have witnessed a PC port of God of War 2018, a major PlayStation exclusive being announced. So it might not be too far-fetched if Sackboy: A Big Adventure follows suit.

What’s also intriguing is that the listing also includes the depot name ‘Marmalade Content,’ which, if you remember the NVIDIA leak from last month, was apparently the code name for Sackboy. All of this makes for a strong case and it is quiet in the realm of possibility that Sony could be considering porting the game to PC. Sony has still not confirmed whether the leak is true or if such a port is in the works. Sackboy: A Big Adventure was initially launched on the PlayStation 5 in November last year and was also released on PS4.

It appears Sackboy: A Big Adventure is headed to Steam according to a SteamDB listing that includes references to Sumo Digital and the game’s initial codename, Project Marmalade

The game has received positive reviews all around and has remained a PlayStation exclusive. But that might change if the leaks are to be believed. Sony has been actively letting go of some of its major console exclusive games like Uncharted 4, God of War 2018, Horizon Zero Dawn, to name a few. These games have been the heavy hitters for both Sony and its consoles. However, considering that most Sony exclusives that are coming to PC or have already arrived have been a few years old.

These games have either been already played by a majority of players or are on the verge of getting a sequel. Regardless, Sony’s recent interest in porting games to PC will definitely make PC players happy. Recently, Nvidia GeForce Now also made changes to its policies, letting Xbox owners stream games from the Steam library via the built-in Microsoft Edge browser.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is currently available exclusively on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5.
