PlayStation continues to bring past console exclusives to PC, with the newest port being Sackboy: A Big Adventure. A trailer recently made it to the internet, possibly released earlier than planned, that confirmed that the exclusive will be getting a PC release on October 27. Not only that, but the PC port will have some extra features sprinkled in.

The new trailer for Sackboy: A Big Adventure does come from an official source, but for some odd reason has not been corroborated anywhere else at the time of writing. Thus far, only the Spanish trailer has shown up on the Latin American PlayStation YouTube channel. The video had remained there for many hours but just went private. But of course, nothing can really be gone from the internet, so the video is still available for people who really want to find it.

Sackboy: A New Adventure On PC

The confirmed release date is less than a month away, after which PC players will be able to give the 3d platformer a shot. The PC port will have 4K and 120 FPS support, and players will even be able to play it on an ultrawide 21:9 monitor. This means that even if you have already played Sackboy: A Big Adventure on PS4 or PS5, the PC version still has some new things on offer that might merit another playthrough.

Ever since the release of LittleBigPlanet on the PS3, Sackboy has become something of a PlayStation mascot. There have been a couple of other entries to the series, alongside some spinoffs which include a PSP game, a kart racer, and the topic of today, Sackboy: A Big Adventure‘s PC port.

PlayStation has had a newfound focus on porting its exclusives to PC in the last few years. And these past exclusives have been doing pretty well, all things considered, on PC. Games like God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Marvel’s Spider-Man have already come out on PC. Other Sony exclusives that will soon come to PC are Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Returnal. Leaks suggest that Sony might even have a PlayStation Launcher in the works for PC.
