Want to know how to create a Custom Difficulty Level in Saints Row? Starting adventures in any game, players often have to choose one of several game difficulty modes. Although most developers offer players several optimal difficulty modes, this is often not enough for players. Some people want to make the opponents hard but reduce their number, while others want to stroll around the game without worrying about their safety. The ability to create your difficulty level is a blessing in today’s, and the developers of Saints Row have made this possible for their players. As in the case of creating your Boss, you can now create a Custom Difficulty Level in Saints Row, and our guide will show you how.

How to Create a Custom Difficulty Level in Saints Row

First of all, it is worth noting that despite the ability to create a Custom Difficulty Level in Saints Row, you can use one of the five difficulty levels preset by the developers:

  • Tourist
  • Hustler
  • Entrepreneur
  • Sensei
  • Boss

By choosing Tourist, the game will feel like a walk in the park. At the same time, choosing the Boss mode, you will regret several times that you started playing this game at all. Since it will be almost impossible to defeat opponents, and on the contrary, you will die from several hits.

These five customization options from the developers are great if you want to get started quickly and don’t want to deal with the settings. But you can try to create a Custom Difficulty Level in Saints Row yourself, and here’s how to do it:

  • Launch Saints Row and go to the main menu.
  • Next, go to Settings and enjoy the process of setting the difficulty level of the game.
  • By going to the specified tab, you can configure seven variables. Pull the slider for each item from 0 to 9, where 0 – easiest and 9 – hardest.

To make it easier for you, we will briefly describe what functions each variable is responsible for:

  • Danger Level. By increasing this variable, you will receive more damage from any source.
  • Enemy Durability. Increasing this stat increases the enemy’s armor. Your attacks will deal less damage to them.
  • Tough Enemy Frequency. This setting adjusts how often “Tough” enemies spawn. These opponents are much stronger than the rest, so be careful with this stat.
  • Vehicle Combat Difficulty. Increasing this stat will decrease the maximum health of your vehicle compared to that of your enemies.
  • Notoriety Difficulty. As this item increases, the number of enemies spawned while notoriety will increase.
  • Ammo Scarcity. Increasing this stat reduces the amount of ammo you gain by picking it up.
  • Timed Objective Difficulty. The higher this setting, the less time you will have to complete timed tasks.

Otherwise, you can customize the game as you want. After playing a little, decide whether these settings suit you and if not, make adjustments. If you are playing with friends, the host player settings take precedence.

Saints Row is launching on August 23, 2022, for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC via Epic Games Store.
