Unlocking cars is one of the more common vehicles to unlock in the new Saints Row game. The easiest way to do this is to find a car on the map somewhere and hijack it. Once you hijack a car, you can take it to your garage and it will be added to your car list. Your first garage will always be your apartment. From there, you can always buy new garages and unlock more cars by finishing story missions.

How to Unlock New Boat Vehicles
To unlock the use of boats, you will have to unlock the boat deck. The boat deck will be unlocked once the Saints have moved to the church, similar to unlocking the helicopter. Once you’ve completed the Aggressive Recruiting mission, you will gain access to the boat dock that sits on the short of the Saints Headquarters. From here, you can start to build and grow your new boat collection.
How to Unlock a Hoverboard Vehicle
To unlock the new hoverboard in Saints Row, you have to finish the Severance Package mission, which then unlocks the second wave of Criminal Ventures. Once you’ve done that, you need to visit the Saints Headquarters and jump up to the second floor where you will enter the room to the left. Here you will have to build the Eurekabator! Using your new device, search for the Alpha Test mission. This will unlock the Prototype RTP 6208S. This is your new hoverboard, and one of the coolest vehicles in Saints Row!
