Deep Silver Volition has finally released the system requirements for the new Saints Row reboot on PC. The minimum system requirements for this game were revealed in June. The developers have finally revealed a detailed requirement list. This list covers a wide range of PCs, from low-end devices to high-end gaming rigs.
After a 9-year-long hiatus, Deep Silver and Volition have returned with the popular Saints Row franchise. The game is expected to go live on August 23 at midnight across all the regions worldwide. That said, this game will take you back to the streets of Santo Ileso as a member of the Saints, a fictional gang in the city.
Can you run the Saints Row Reboot on your PC?
The answer depends on the peripherals and the hardware you are currently using. To run the Saints Row reboot on your PC at the lowest settings (1080p @ 30FPS), you will need at least 8Gb RAM. Other than that, you will also need an Intel Core i3-3240 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor. A GPU equivalent to GeForce GTX 970 is also recommended.
To run the game on 4K settings, you will need at least 16GB of RAM, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, or an equivalent processor. Since it’s a reboot, Saints Row won’t run on any operating system other than Windows 10 64-bit and above. If you’re still running Windows 7 or even Windows 8, you must upgrade it to Windows 10 64-bit. Since this game employs modern graphics, the Saints Row reboot might be a bit too demanding in terms of hardware. Recent tech reviews have noted that the game sometimes struggles at 4K-60FPS, even with a Core i7 processor. So it’s clear that the game will be slightly demanding. But, there is some time before the game actually hits the market. The developers might tweak the settings a little more for a seamless experience.
