As we gear up for the wide release of the Saints Row reboot on August 23, 2022, many players are curious to learn as much as possible before buying it. There are several new features, characters, and even new gangs to battle. But a big question is just how far can you improve the Boss in the game? The franchise is well-known for the wild exploits of the Boss, so it’s important to improve them as much as possible. We’ll let you know about the max level cap for the Boss in Saints Row and what else that entails.

What is the Max Level Cap for the Boss in Saints Row

Perhaps a glaring difference from the previous game, the Saints Row reboot comes with a much lower level cap for the Boss. For now, it is assumed that the character will max out at Level 20. It is unclear if that is the final cap, as future DLCs might change that, especially considering how the previous Saints Row game had a level cap of around 50.

As it stands, you can reach Level 20 with the Boss in Saints Row, and leveling up will grant you skills and perks. There are 19 skills in all, and you can unlock the first one once you reach Level 2. All of these tie into the new Flow mechanic feature in the game. This combat mechanic allows you to use your abilities while in combat. These do cost a bar, but you can earn Flow Points while you are in combat. Note that the higher level and stronger the skill is, the more they will cost the Boss to perform in Saints Row.

As long as you complete the various missions and side quests as well as engage in combat, you can reach the max character level for the Boss in little time.
