Primetime Emmy Award-winning American actress Sally Field reveals the worst on-screen kisser she encountered throughout her acting career. The actress’ worst kisser had people in disbelief during Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” on Thursday.

According to the 76-year-old, her longtime boyfriend and late American sex symbol, Burton Leon Reynolds Jr, was her least favorite on-screen kisser. The host of the show and the audience were surprised, as expected. She was asked if she was sure, and her response was affirmative.

Idina Menzel, making a guest appearance, also burst into laughter after Sally Field named Burt Reynolds as her worst on-screen kisser. She was dating Reynolds at the time, and she confirmed it to the show host.

The duo starred in 1977’s “Smokey And The Bandit,” a comedy film, and they shared lots of kisses in front of the camera. Field and Reynolds dated for four years between 1976 and 1980, making her response funnier.

Why Did Sally Field Name Burt Reynolds As Her Worst Career Kisser and Not the Best

To satisfy the crowd’s curiosity, Sally Field hesitated before saying that she named Reynolds as her worst on-screen kisser because of drooling. The Golden Globe Award winner further stated that kissing wasn’t something that her former boyfriend did very well.

Field and Reynolds appeared together in four films during their relationship period. In 2016, he regarded her as the love of his life before getting married.

The actor passed in 2018 at the age of 82, and Field declared that her years with Burt will never leave her mind. She also stated that he will be in her history and her heart forever.

The host thanked the beautifully aging actress for being brutally honest and sharing. For Sally Field’s best on-screen kisser, she named James Garner from “Murphy’s Romance,”  a 1985 rom-com.
