SanDisk 128GB microSDXC Card for Nintendo Switch

If you own a Nintendo Switch, you may be looking for additional storage to supplement the 32GB of onboard memory. SanDisk offers a Nintendo-branded microSDXC Card that comes your choice of 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of storage.

There are other options out there in terms of memory cards for the Switch, however, this card is unique in that it actually is branded with Nintendo characters. This should give you the comfort of knowing it is a safe bet for your Nintendo Switch.

We had the opportunity to try out the 128GB card from SanDisk and it definitely increased the possibilities for our Nintendo Switch. First of all, the packaging is a lot of fun with a Mario Kart theme.

Once we put the card in our Switch, there was no evidence you could tell any difference in the gameplay. Most likely, transfer rates of up to 100mb/s (read) and 90mb/s (write) have something to do with this.

Verdict:

If you have a Nintendo Switch, you will most likely want more storage. Why not go with a card that Nintendo puts their name on? The price is reasonable and we found it to make no difference in the gameplay. There are other cards that would fit the Switch, however, this card simply makes sense.
