Sarah Snook joins Hugh Jackman in the upcoming Hulu series Koala Man. The Succession actress comes on board for the animated superhero show with Demi Lardner (Open Slather).

The Sarah Snook and Hugh Jackman series will follow Kevin, also known as Koala Man, played by executive producer and creator Michael Cusack (Smiling Friends). While taking on petty crimes, he is making his home of Dapto a nicer place. The X-Men star plays the head of the Town Council, Big Greg, an ex-reality TV star who has taken the credit for all of the deeds done by the protagonist. Snook plays Vicky, the wife of Kevin, who thinks he is having a midlife crisis that will pass. However, his path of wholesome justice strains their relationship, making Vicky question the future of their marriage.

Lardner will play Alison, a young girl trying to be the most popular girl in school. The daughter of Kevin and Vicky will distance herself from her parents and twin brother Liam to reach her goal of being on top of the school’s food chain.

Sarah Snook and Hugh Jackman star in the Hulu series Koala Man

Being an Australian animated Hulu series, Koala Man has stacked up quite a few residents of the country with Sarah Snook, Hugh Jackman, Demi Lardner, and the show’s creator. They will also be joined by Lebanese-Australian actress Nisrine Amine (Here Out West) to keep up with the running theme of its casting choices. Cusack writes with Pokémon: Detective Pikachu writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit. The writers all executive produce with Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland. The Detective Pikachu scribes will act as showrunners.

While Hugh Jackman has had a name for himself, Sarah Snook has recently caught attention over her role in HBO’s Succession. The two-time Emmy nominated actress is also known for roles in Steve Jobs, The Dressmaker, Predestination, Winchester, and An American Pickle. Coming up, she will star in the horror film Run Rabbit Run and the drama The Beanie Bubble.
