Scarlet Nexus is continuously teasing players with new information, and today is no different. Today’s reveal includes an exciting mechanic that will help you develop a stronger bond with different companion characters in the game. It gives you the option to offer presents to your friends and create bonds with different characters that you encounter. This gifting mechanic is interesting to see how these companions will use the items.
According to 4Gamer, you can converse and communicate with your companions. These conversations can lead to “character episodes,” You can even learn more about the character and develop a stronger relationship with them. Aside from interactions, as previously stated, a gift-giving mechanic allows you to form bonds with your companions.
The gifts that you give to your companions will appear in their own individual space. For example, give them a guitar, and you will see it on their wall or somewhere near them. This is a great way to interact and strengthen your bonds with the companion characters in Scarlet Nexus, seeing your gifts honored by your friends.
In addition to these tidbits, Scarlet Nexus’s opening movie is now out by Bandai Namco. The opening movie is entirely animated, with Japanese animation studio Sunrise taking the helm.

You’ll also notice how the two can easily interact with the surrounding objects and even using them to gain an advantage against your enemy. Scarlet Nexus is already scheduled for release on June 25, 2021, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. An anime taking place in the game’s world is also in production.
