Ebb Software shared a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming horror game title, Scorn. Scorn will be a first-person horror game, which will easily make your skin crawl. The trailer reveals new details for what players should expect with the game. Get relaxed because there’s plenty to look at in Scorn.
An In-Depth Look
The trailer reveals the player on an alien or hell-like base. The horror rooms are ripped straight out of a grotesque movie, with organs laying around the room. Creatures live within the organ system, waiting to venture out and find food. It’s as if the whole space is a living creature. We see multiple demon spawn looking creatures within the trailer. One small creature with small grotesque wings, one creature crawling on all fours with a bloody body, and a brute force creature ready to bash the player. This game seems to have many horrors in hand for you to face.
Scorn’s Gameplay Mechanics
In Scorn, you will use a weapon that seems alive. The trailer revealed a bloody organ that will reach out and attach itself to the character’s weapon. Not only this, but you can change the type of weapon by removing the front part. If the scene is not grotesque enough, swapping your gun attachments can help you out there. The game also seems to be not so generous with ammo. This means that each shot must count if you are to survive in this unfamiliar world. You will also be carrying around a disk-like object, which will hold the egg sac like bullets for you and display red pulsating sacs on the top. The sacs will allow you to plunge them into your skin, which will replenish health. If you like gore, this game has plenty of it, but if you do not, watch out.
