Sea of Thieves is one of the most popular online games these days. It doesn’t bring a style we haven’t seen before, but the game contains all the fun ways. And it makes a dream real, most of us dreamed back: piracy. The game brings our friends together on a ship, and there is no limit to funny and risky adventures that smell like earning golden at sea. The upcoming Season 7 update was going to be Sea of Thieves’ next adventure, but the release date has been delayed to August. Until the new date, the players will play the content of the latest update we saw last week.

That will be the first season update for whoever gets the game through Xbox Game Pass. The subscription brought a lot of new players, and they’re waiting for a season update. But it looks like they should wait a little longer.

Sea of Thieves Season 7 Update to Release on August 4th

The update was planned to release on July 21st, but developers announced the date is changed to August 4th. The reason is they need to add Polish to the game, and there are other things to get fixed. The announcement from the team explains:

“As we started getting closer to the originally stated release date, it became apparent that things were coming in hotter than we liked, and there was a real risk of not delivering to the quality and polish we expect, as well as putting undue pressure across the team to get it all over the line.”

If you remember the Xbox Showcase, the developer studio said the Sea of Thieves Season 7 update will be one of the most extensive updates yet. Since that announcement, gamers have been hyped even more about this update. They need to wait another two weeks, but we hope it will be worth it.
