Sea of Thieves is an excellent combination of social fun and living a pirate life. The game is getting even more fun with the last updates, and there is an upcoming season 7 update too. SoT brings thousands of good reviews from gamers, but there are weird statistics on Steam. The Reddit user’s statistics surprised us with how many players didn’t achieve it. Even if you had played Sea of Thieves before on Steam, you might haven’t got it.
If you remember, the Sea of Thieves Season 7 update was delayed to August. Initially, we thought we would get the update today, but the developers announced that there’s still stuff to work with. We shared the updated date before and kept our eyes open to continue the adventure.
33% of the Sea of Thieves Steam Players Didn’t Reach The Sea
It might sound weird. But when we check Sea of Thieves’ game achievement statistics on Steam, %33 of the players didn’t get the achievement achieved by reaching the sea. The game rewards you when you complete the game tutorial, and there’s no option to skip the tutorial. It says that the %33 players launched the game and didn’t continue. But there’s also another scenario.
The other possibility is that those gamers might somehow skip the tutorial. The game doesn’t allow you to ignore it, but it’s possible to join a friend’s crew without completing the tutorial. Considering that this scenario might cover the 10 percent of the players who didn’t achieve the achievement, the situation seems less weird.
The game contains a lot of social activities with a pirating theme. Some players download the game because they want to spend time with their friends and usually don’t care about the game’s essentials. The game’s tutorial teaches you the fundamentals, but some of us can’t stand it like most online games.
If you’re planning to achieve it on a PC, you can also get the game from Game Pass library.
