Mo’Nique will play Goldie in Season 2 of the series BMF. They rose to become a powerful crime family. The cast of the Starz drama series includes Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., Michole Briana White, Myles Truitt, La La Anthony, Steve Harris, and many more. Mo’Nique Largely Disappeared After Her Oscar Win

Prior to being cast in Season 2 of the series BMF, Mo’Nique seemed to disappear from the spotlight. Her career fizzled after her Oscar win for the film Precious. Lee Daniels directed the film, and the actor accused him, Tyler Perry, and Oprah, of blackballing her for not promoting the film during awards season. Mo’Nique says it wasn’t part of her contract to promote the film, and she didn’t want to spend time away from her family. Recently, she and Daniels put their feud to rest. She has starred in such films as Bessie and Almost Christmas since Precious. She even had her own show The Mo’Nique Show for two seasons. Now the star will return to television for Season 2 of the Starz drama series BMF. She has shown her impressive range throughout her career and will get to keep showing it for the Starz drama series.

Fortunately, Hollywood hasn’t given up on Mo’Nique. You can catch the first season of BMF on Starz.
