The critically acclaimed FX comedy-drama series Atlanta will return for Season 3 in the spring of 2022. It’s been three years since Season 2 ended, and there were further delays because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Donald Glover released a mystifying Season 3 trailer last Halloween showing Paper Boi (played by Brian Tyree Henry) wearing a shirt with “FAKE” on it. The series stars Donald Glover, LaKeith Stanfield, and Brian Tyree Henry. Glover plays Earn and Stanfield plays Darius. The third and fourth seasons were written and filmed together. Donald Glover created the series and is an executive producer of the FX comedy-drama series. Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms, and Dianne McGunigle are also executive producers. Fans will look forward to what other shenanigans LaKeith Stanfield and Donald Glover’s characters will get into for these upcoming seasons.

Donald Glover, who previously went by the moniker Childish Gambino, already had a successful acting career (Community), writer (30 Rock), and musician. Atlanta has only added to his accolades. LaKeith Stanfield and Donald Glover make an odd, but entertaining pair in Atlanta, and Season 3 should be no exception. What is Paper Boi up to and will it be dangerous? Season 3 of Atlanta premieres on Thursday, March 24 at 10 PM ET on FX, and for the first time, in-season streaming will be available on Hulu.
