Developers at Ripple Effect Studios and DICE have assured fans that they are continuously working on upcoming fixes and optimizations for Battlefield 2042. The first of these updates came with the launch of the game after examining community complaints from the initial early access.

The second update is scheduled to roll out on Nov. 25 and will fix some major and minor problems with the game. The improvements in Update #2 for Battlefield 2042 are related to servers, weapon bloom, UI, bugs, vehicles, progressions, and more. The complete patch notes will be shared by EA on Nov. 24.

Furthermore, Update #3 is going to be the biggest update for the game and is expected to arrive in early Dec. This will be followed by the Battlefield 2042 Season 1 content drop, which will launch in early 2022. You can find out more about the forthcoming updates on the official Battlefield blog.
