Another week is in the books and a new creative hub is being featured in Fortnite Creative! These have come with little challenges to complete, so we’re taking a look at how-to find all of the secret fossils you need to locate to finish it!
To start the creative hub challenge, you’ll need to talk to the small red triceratops named Sarah. She’s up where the featured portals are and right below the big T-Rex.
She will say her friend Rex needs help, so you can accept the challenge. You will now need to collect 5 fossils for Sarah to get Rex to move! The fossils are gray rocks that have small bones on them. Here’s an example of what they look like:
Secret Fossil Locations
Here’s a look at where you can find all of the fossil locations. I’ll be relating direction where the golden portal and top of the map with the featured portals is up. So left, right, and down will be in relation to that.
Fossil #1
This one is really easy to spot, it’s near a large tusk that’s sticking out of the ground right next to the Bow Blast featured creator map.
Fossil #2
If you head to the bottom left of the map you’ll find a location that points to caveman drawings.
Head into that cave area and you will find a fossil in the back of the room.
Fossil #3
If you head out of that cave area you should see a large and small T-Rex. There’s a fossil right under the baby rex, so try to grab it without getting bit!
Fossil #4
At the lower right area of the map near the matchmaking hub you’ll see a purple dinosaur! Near the tail is another fossil that you can collect.
Fossil #5
On the right side of the map, you’ll see a huge skeleton of some kind of scary dinosaur! If you look to the skull of it, you will find a fossil lodged into its eye.
Once you’ve collected them all, you can head back to Sarah. She will need a key and suggest that it might be in her cavern. This is located at the very bottom of the map and was previously covered by wood. Go to the cave and look up towards the ceiling of it. You should see some vines hanging down and a key attached.
Once you grab that key, that will complete the challenge and open up the gate that’s on the featured portals level to the right. Head over to check out a nice message from the creator! That’s everything for this challenge. If you had any trouble, feel free to check out this video:
