Ever wanted to see more of Final Fantasy VII Remake outside of the confines of pre-rendered cut scenes and work-in-progress clips? Square Enix has something up its sleeve that you’ll want to check out.

From Jan. 22 through Feb. 28 in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, there’s a special Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition being held. The “Farewell Stories Exhibition,” as it’s called, will house several image boards from the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake that haven’t been showcased before.

The only problem is that you might have trouble seeing the new image boards with all the tears in your eyes. Part of the exhibition includes the “Sector 5 Church” where you can walk around the inside of the church itself and listen to Aerith and Cloud speak. There was a special audio track recorded specifically for this event, which will no doubt tug at your heartstrings given Aerith’s tragic fate in Final Fantasy VII.

Beyond that scene, there will be other “farewell stories” at the exhibition with other difficult goodbyes, each with their own recorded audio and an augmented reality audio system. You can connect to the system to listen to special audio from the games in this way as you walk through each area. Beyond that, of course, are the areas with never-before-seen content from Final Fantasy VII Remake.

You’ll just have to wipe your eyes constantly if you want to take a look.

You can check out the official exhibition site here, and if you’re in the area for any reason you might want to stop by and give it a look.
