Surprisingly, Sony has announced that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is going to be playable at the PlayStation Experience 2018 South East Asia.

As you might know, there are two PlayStation Experience planned each year: one coming December for the western territories, and the other planned for later this August in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sekiro, which got announced with a HUD-less gameplay trailer at E3 2018, is reported among the playable titles at the Sony booth, as the Japanese platform holder is set to publish it in the territory, alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil 2.

On top of that, the game will be at the event with an “exclusive Sekiro theatre experience,” which we don’t know what could actually be. That doesn’t really look like a hands on demo, but it’ll remain to be seen whether the two things will co-exist.

To be honest, it seems a bit hard that a title that has not been playable at the E3 is going to be playable at a minor event couple months later. Should it be confirmed, we could expect something similar for Gamescom, in Germany, too.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is releasing 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
