According to From Software’s Bob Simpson, the developer is working on the possibility to have the Japanese audio across all the different regions when Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice releases next year.

When asked about the matter, Simpson simply said that the studio has the feature in the making and there’s the plan to ship the “JP audio” in all the different versions of the action adventure title.

“The plan is to have JP audio as an option in every version,” he told a fan who had a question about the chance to listen to the Japanese audio in the upcoming game from the Souls makers.

That’s a neat feature that players keep asking since Japanese games have some sort of bigger believability when played by Japanese voice actors, instead of foreigners with English audio, no matters how good they are.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is looking every day better and more convincing. It’s slightly different from the most recent From Software titles, but it seems a quite good mix between more modern gameplay and the likes of Bloodborne anyway.

It’s dropping March 22, 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
