Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young is suing a strip club for using her image without her consent. She found out the hard way by seeing herself in one of the club’s print ads for football game viewing parties. Not only is she suing the establishment for using her image, but she is also looking for financial damages as well. And the deeper you look into the story, the shadier it gets. Come to find out, she was not the only victim of this.

Imagine getting a text alert than a friend sending you a picture of you on a strip club flyer? Understandably very distressing. Luckily, she is suing the club responsible, and we won’t even name it to give it any P.R. What they did is creepy and not okay.

Selling Sunset Star Heather Rae Young Is So Over This Drama

Via TMZ:

“In the docs, Heather includes the flyer she says Platinum West used with her image for Sunday and Monday night football events … with the phrase, ‘Cheerleaders for Every Fan.’ Heather says she never had any sort of agreement or communications at all with Platinum … and to use her image to allure guests is plain old false advertising. Not only that, Heather claims the club is defaming her by making it appear she works there as a stripper.

Heather and two other women just filed legal docs — obtained by TMZ — claiming Platinum West and Platinum Plus Gentlemen’s clubs in SC and PA, respectively, plastered their images on promo posters to get patrons into the club.”

That’s mind-blowing to us. The fact that they did this to three women of high stature. What did they think would possibly happen? I’m also guessing some shady strip club doesn’t have access to the same pedigree of lawyers these women do. They screwed up big time, and the outcome for them doesn’t look good.

Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young is up in arms, and who can blame her? Imagine what it would be like to see yourself plastered on an ad for a strip club. That is some “flip a table” type stuff. But she is keeping herself composed and going about this the right way. Legally. It is a pretty repulsive thing to do, and we really hope those involved get taken to task for it.
