With temperatures dropping, now is the perfect time to cozy up with a new game. As we start to shift toward the Holiday season, there are some exciting 2021 game releases on the horizon. That being said, here are a handful of September video game releases to keep an eye on!

September 7: Sonic Colors: Ultimate

Coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch, Sonic Colors: Ultimate is a shiny-new remaster of the classic game.

September 10: Warioware: Get It Together!

This highly-anticipated 2021 game release is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch. Warioware: Get It Together! is a collection of mini-games completed by a cast of quirky characters. Whether played alone or with a pal, this is one September video game release you won’t want to miss.

September 10: Life Is Strange: True Colors

Showcasing a new main character and heartbreaking mystery, the newest Life is Strange is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Unlike previous games in the series, True Colors will not be getting an episodic release.

September 10: Tales of Arise

“Tales of Arise is an epic, anime-style adventure set in the medieval world of Dahna, where evil forces butt up against the power of good.” It will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.

September 10: NBA 2K22

NBA 2K22 is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

September 14: Deathloop

Deathloop might be one of the most-anticipated September video game releases after being pushed back a handful of times. Centered around an assassin stuck in a time loop, this mystery is set to release on PlayStation 5 and PC.

September 16: Eastward

Eastward, the newest game from Chucklefish, is coming to PC and Switch. Inspired by 90s anime, this puzzle-platformer is about “two travelers attempting to escape a subterranean society”.

September 21: Kena: Bridge of Souls

Coming to PlayStation and PC, Kena: Bridge of Souls is where you “play as Kena, a young Spirit Guide traveling to an abandoned village in search of the sacred mountain shrine.” A “unique companion mechanic and thrilling combat” sets this September video game release apart.

September 24: Lost Judgment

The long-awaited sequel to 2018’s Judgment is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S.
