About the Session: Skate Sim update

The main focus of this update is to improve the complete game experience. That includes character physics, which got an overhaul to make each skater’s movement more realistic. The addition of full-body inverse kinematics means that the interaction between the skater and their board is now more fluid.

The update also brings with it an expansion to the already substantial open world. Session: Skate Sim now offers two of the world’s best skate spots: Jerome Avenue Banks in New York City and FDR Park in Philadelphia. Additionally, the cities are now alive with pedestrians and street traffic.

New challenges added to the game present players with ways to earn sponsorships. Travel to different neighborhoods and meet with other skaters to access new missions. Completing new tricks in these challenge missions increases street cred as well.

New skaters drop-in

Included in Session: Skate Sim’s huge update are five new playable skaters. Players can now choose Antiferg, Mark Appleyard, Billy Marks, Manny Santiago, and Beagle to explore every corner of the map with. This now brings the character count to nine. Additionally, four new customizable skaters join the roster. Not only can players customize their avatar, but they can choose from their favorite clothing and skate brands, including Madrid Skateboards, ThankYou Skateboards, and Sugar Skate Co.

The skateboarding simulation invites players to experience the genuine 1990s skateboarding way of life. Session: Skate Sim is currently on Steam in Early Access, the Xbox Game Preview Program, and the Epic Games Store.
