Harebrained Schemes took to Kickstarter last year seeking cash to fund the return of Shadowrun. Obviously Shadowrun fans are alive and kicking, because the developer saw a huge community pony up cash for the game, making it one of the most successful crowd-funded games of the year. The developers are making good progress, and recently uploaded an alpha gameplay walkthrough of a side-mission in the game, to give a clearer sense of how the game is played “without revealing any spoilers,” says the developer.
As noted, Shadowrun Returns will feature an editor which allows all of the environments, conversations, and tactical situtations to be experimented with by players of the game.
