The long-awaited 16-bit action game is finally coming soon.

Vblank Entertainment, the developer of Retro City Rampage, has been working on their next game, Shakedown: Hawaii, for quite some time now. Finally, the game has a release date, at least for most of the consoles it’s coming to.

It was recently announced that Shakedown: Hawaii will be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on May 7. A 3DS version of the game has been in development and is still planned, but will take a little more time to finish, so the release date for the 3DS version will be revealed at a later date. The game will sell on digital retailers for $19.99.

Additionally, physical copies of the PS Vita version of Shakedown: Hawaii will be made available for $29.99, but will be limited to just 4,800 units. These physical copies will be available for pre-order starting on May 3 at 10:00am PST/1:00pm EST. Vblank Entertainment are also releasing a last run of physical copies of the PS Vita version of Retro City Rampage DX, which will be available for pre-order tomorrow, April 24, at 10:00am PST/1:00pm EST.

Shakedown: Hawaii is a 16-bit, top-down action game with an open world that features lots of missions and a destructible environment. You can watch the game’s latest overview trailer below.
