Colombian pop singer, Shakira, will be moving to Miami with their sons after reaching a new custody agreement following the split with Gerard Piqué. Per TMZ, the former couple confirmed they have signed the agreement because of their kids.
They did it to provide their kids with utmost security and protection, so they can continue with their lives in a better environment. The singer’s team and her ex-professional footballer beau’s reps came to an agreement after holding a 12-hour-long meeting.
It was after the half-day-long custody agreement with her ex’s reps that Shakira will be moving with their sons to Miami. After eight years of living in Barcelona, the singer is returning to her long-time home, joining her family.

It’s sad seeing Shakira move to Miami with their sons after thinking she was fully based in Miami. However, trouble started when the athlete’s infidelity was questioned.
It led to their breakup and the pop star spoke about the issue in a new cover interview for Elle’s October issue. That was the first time she opened up about it.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer pointed out that the split with her ex, was difficult because they were public figures. So she tried to remain calm and process it all before speaking out.
However, the mother of two admitted that she and her kids were still going through the whole thing, and it has been incredibly difficult. Considering the fact that they were together for 12 years, the singer didn’t deserve such.
As an expression of her, she wrote a song for him titled “Me Enamoré” meaning I fell in love. The singer also had to stay in Barcelona because of his career with The Catalans. But after the custody agreement between the duo, Shakira will be moving to Miami with their sons.
Things may be irreparable between the former given the last time they were at their son’s game. It was reported that they were cold to each other all through.
