The Grammy-winning singer penned a lengthy message addressing fans in her native Spanish language on Instagram. She drew fans’ attention to a thought-provoking theme that alluded to wounds and healing. The singer started;
The Hips Don’t Lie crooner has fans hope that there were more people than bad people. She emphasized the presence of more empathetic people than indolent ones. She went further, stating that “our tears were not a waste, but instead they water the soil where the future will be born.”
Shakira appeared to subtly address the heartbreak she recently faced with her long-time boyfriend, Gerard Pique. She concluded her message: “So in the midst of heartbreak, we can continue to love.”
