The talk show world is experiencing a rebirth as Sherri Shepherd‘s new daytime talk show premiere gets closer. The new show will not only replace “The Wendy Williams Show” on set, but it will also take over its physical hub of operation. Promotions for the show are already in top gear. Word is in the air that the show has been fully booked into the fall.

Things are also starting to come together in the studio setup. A huge poster of Shepherd’s yet-to-premiere show was put up exactly where Wendy’s once was. It was set up outside the studio on Thursday night in New York City. Former show host, Wendy Williams has also revealed that she will not be watching the new show.

Wendy Williams Won’t Be Watching The New Daytime Talk Show

Wendy Williams disclosed in a recent interview with Fat Joe that she likes Sherri Shepherd, but she won’t be watching her new show. The 58-year-old American writer claims that there’s nothing new to see because she already knows what Shepherd will be doing, and it’s not her thing.

Sherri Shepherd got Wendy’s spot back in February. She became the next in line after becoming a permanent guest on the show. The 1967-born American actress took over from Wendy Wiliams due to health reasons.

Wendy has been sick for a while and the show needed a replacement. Shepherd was the next viable candidate and she has taken over while setting things in full motion. Recording for Sherri Shepherd’s new daytime talk show starts this Thursday. The premiere is set for the 12th of this month.

Sherri Shepherd’s New Show Studio Setup

Although Sherri Shepherd is moving into Wendy’s former studio, sources disclose that the space for the new show is currently being redesigned. According to the source, the redesign is coming soon pretty well. The set is already displaying bright colors. Most of which consists of blue and yellow tones to complement the host’s personality and the show’s signature color.

When the studio for Sherri Shepherd’s new show is up, her celeb buddies will grace the premiere, the source added.
