Dying Light 2 offers various choices that can impact the lives of the world’s citizens, even in side missions. In the Missing Persons side quest, players meet Damien, a man looking for his brother and aiding bandits. You have the choice to kill him or to help him find Cliff, his brother. Here’s the best possible set of options for this side mission.

Choosing to ignore Damien’s plight causes him to attack Aiden, ending in a fight that kills him. It’s a sad end for this sympathetic character. Your other option is to agree to help him find his missing brother.

We recommend aiding in his search and saving Damien in this encounter, as it leaves one less dead civilian in Villedor. While Damien’s actions were heinous, he did them to aid his brother, who ultimately died. We like to think that Aiden would help someone hurting like Damien was at this point. To save Damien:

  • Agree to help Damien look for his brotherDefeat the thugs in the following encounterChoose the following dialogue options when he threatens to jump to his death:“About life?““I’ll jump too!“Interrupt Damien

Damien will head to the Bazaar if you save him and spend the remainder of the game there.

  • “About life?““I’ll jump too!“Interrupt Damien
