Vampire The Masquerade: Swansong allows players to take control of three unique Vampires as they work to unravel a mystery threatening to reveal their true nature to humans. Along their journey, players can upgrade their characters with Upgrade Points. These points can alter how characters investigate areas and navigate conversations. Players can even level up these stats automatically at the start to get a blueprint for what to improve, but should users do this?

We recommend choosing a preset in Vampire The Masquerade: Swansong, especially on your first playthrough, as it offers a balanced distribution of Upgrade Points for each character. Going in and upgrading skills can make success in conversations and investigations difficult.

Which preset should you pick in Vampire The Masquerade: Swansong?

There are four presets for players to pick from in Swansong, and users can choose a preset for each of the three main characters. Depending on your character, we recommend a different preset to help you set yourself up for a solid playthrough. Players can enter points later on manually once they get more upgrade points.
