Telemer is a cultist that players can encounter during the spies amidst our ranks quest. When players first encounter him, he will ask if Faxon sent them and what is happening.

Eventually, the player can have a choice of telling him to either leave or attack him. Each option will result in the same situation where Telemer will attempt to get rid of a document by eating it.

Soon after, players will be presented with a choice, let the elf die or let him live. In either of these situations, the player will gain a largely unreadable letter according to game text that will change depending on what the player does.

If they save him, the letter will be called a masticated letter, if they let them die, it will be called a largely destroyed letter. Killing Telemer is also an option, but this will result in the largely destroyed letter.

Overall, Telemer really doesn’t affect much in the game, and letting him die or saving him all depends on your current alignment. If you want to be evil, let him die or kill him. If you want to be good, do the opposite and save him.
